The Roto Choir recreates both the rotating lower speaker and the treble rotor horn –the only way to attain that complex, multi-dimensional tone. In fact, the Roto Choir utilizes a specifically formulated SansAmp technology to deliver the entire signal chain –from the original tube power amp to the speaker and high-frequency rotor horn, to the microphone used to capture it. This is HD, 3D emulation.

The simple controls hide a wealth of options. Drive adds just the right amount of compression, harmonics and grit. Low and High sculpt the tube amp emulation with powerful EQ curves. The Fast/Slow footswitch allows users to ramp up, slow down or even stop the rotating speaker. There’s also a dedicated control to custom set the Top Speed of your rotor. Want to vary the intensity of the effect? Simply adjust the Position control to move the Roto Choir’s virtual mic closer or further from the horns. Other features include a biamped/single-speaker mode switch, stereo output and a Speaker Sim switch for direct recording.

Das Catalinbread Belle Epoch Delay-Effektpedal orientiert sich am Sound des legendären Maestro Echoplex EP-3, das in den 1970er Jahren zum Arsenal diverser Helden des Rock gehörte, darunter solche Namen wie Brian May, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmour oder Eric Johnson. Sie setzten das Delay oft und gerne ein, neben dem warm klingenden Bandecho-Sound auch wegen seines Preamps, mit dem man einen Amp noch etwas heißer anfahren und zu etwas mehr Zerre überreden konnte.

 The Catalinbread Belle Epoch Tape Echo, has tape echo sounds so authentic you’d swear there was tape inside the pedal! Inspired by the Maestro Echoplex, EP-3 model, perhaps the most famous tape delay ever, the Belle Epoch features everything we love about the EP-3 in a small, maintenance free pedal format. We felt that a “tape echo” pedal was much more than just a standard digital delay with some “filtering” on the repeats. There are a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle traits of the Echoplex that needed to be implemented in order to be authentic. The preamp, the self-oscillation character, the ability to control the “record level” of the signal hitting “tape”, the wow and flutter, the way the repeats decay, the way the circuit interfaces with the amp and other pedals – all these things were important to get right. The original unit was used as a musical instrument unto itself and this is what we captured with the Belle Epoch.

The MXR Sugar Drive Pedal provides a diverse range of clear and transparent overdrive tones, from sauced up boosting to blown-tube distortion. It's based on a rare overdrive pedal that has acquired a mythical reputation among fanatical tone-seekers thanks to its unique circuit design.

The key elements of that circuit design are the Drive control and something called a voltage doubler. Ein Jahr später, 1986, erschien die “Power Series”, bzw. die 10er Reihe, zu der der TS10 zählt, mit mehr Veränderungen in der Schaltung. Hier wurden sehr kostengünstige Komponenten verbaut, die Stecker sind nicht am Gehäuse, sondern auf der Platine verschraubt und das Chassis ist dünner. Gegen Ende der Produktion wurden einige TS10 in Taiwan gebaut und mit dem MC4558 Chip versehen. Die frühen Made in Japan TS10 sind mittlerweile trotz der erwähnten Abstriche sehr gefragt, nicht zuletzt, weil auch John Mayer mittlerweile dieses Pedal benutzt.

As with other Tube Screamers, the TS10 features the same three controls: Drive, Tone and Level. This model in particular is extremely responsive to the dynamics of your playing, making it a great pedal to crank up and then control via your guitar’s volume knob, for all the control over your overdrive you could want. Starting with the Tone and Drive around 9:00, it’s fun to try out different settings, both on the pedal itself, and playing with your guitar’s controls. The TS10 is also a joy to use with other pedals, especially a good boost, which can propel the overdriven sound to drive your amp beautifully, just beyond break-up, but still clean and clea

Keeley updated the build with modern construction techniques to make this Katana the most dependable Clean Boost on the market, including an updated aluminum control knob, designed for on-the-fly foot adjustment.
WANT A MIRROR IMAGE OF YOUR TONE, ONLY LOUDER? Roll the volume knob forward with your foot and you’ll be good to go! NEED EVEN MORE? The Katana Boost is also a fat, harmonically rich boost, just pull out on the volume knob and push the limits with overdriven tone! You can keep it on all the time to push your amp harder, or as an occasional boost to cut through the mix.
The Katana circuit is Robert Keeley’s first guitar effect design for Keeley Electronics. It was originally designed as part of the Time Machine Boost, but then became an independent product under the Keeley name after the release of the original Keeley Compressor.

The CHRONO DELAY features a simple interface that allows fast, intuitive control.

Delay time is adjustable from 1 to 2700 milliseconds. The A/B preset memory allows two different delay times settings to be memorized and recalled via the footswitch as needed.
