Der Doubleland Special Overdrive nimmt den punchigen, verwegenen Overrated Special Overdrive – designt für keinen geringeren als Joe Bonamassa – und packt 2 dieser Schaltkreise in dasselbe Gehäuse. Joe nutzt eine Seite für Humbucker und die andere für Single Coils. Und wenn du dich besonders risikofreudig fühlst kannst du beide Channels in Serie laufen lassen. Die Regler für beide Seiten funktionieren genauso wie beim Overrated Special. Der 50Hz Regler lässt dich den Punch in den Tiefmitten anheben – für tasty, groovy Licks, mit dem Volume Regler wird das Ausgangsvolumen des Schaltkreises bestimmt und der Tone Knob kontrolliert den Höhenanteil. Und der Drive Regler? Der steuert die Intensität des Overdrives. Die rechte Seite verwendet Slider für Volume, 500Hz und Drive, damit Joe den Drive einstellen und sich auf den Tone Knob konzentrieren kann. Der Doubleland Special Overdrive ist limitiert auf 1.000 Stück Weltweit, nummeriert und hand-signiert von Joe Bonamassa. Jedes Exemplar kommt mit einer Custom Pick Tin gefüllt mit 25th Anniversary Way Huge Picks und Joe’s Custom Silver Jazz III Picks.

The Doubleland Special Overdrive takes the bold and punchy Overrated Special OD—designed just for Joe Bonamassa—and doubles it up in a single housing. Joe uses one side for humbuckers and the other side for single coils. If you’re feeling particularly frisky, you can run both channels at the same time in Series mode by flipping the Series switch. The controls for each side work just like they do on the Overrated Special OD. The 500Hz control lets you punch up the low mids for tasty, groovy licks, with the Volume control setting pedal output, the Tone control shaping its sound, and the Drive control setting the overdrive intensity. The right-side circuit has sliders for the Volume, 500Hz, and Drive controls so that Joe can set them and forget them and focus on the Tone control, which he adjusts during sets. The Doubleland Special Overdrive is limited to 1,000 units worldwide, serial numbered and signed by Joe himself, and it comes with a custom Pick Tin featuring 25th Anniversary Way Huge Picks and Joe’s custom silver Jazz III Picks.

Ausser den Volume und Sustain Reglern des Vorgängers hat diese neu aufgelegte Version jetzt einen Gain – Regler, der das Eingangs Gain- Signal kontrolliert, einen Tone Regler, um die Höhen nach der Kompression zu begrenzen und einen Attack Regler, um die Reaktionszeit des Kompressors einzustellen.

Das Way Huge Atreides Analog Weirding Module (WHE900) bietet ein Kaleidoskop aus organischen Synth-ähnlichen Tönen. Inspiriert von einem Vintage Mini-Synthesizer aus dem Jahr 1980 erzeugt das Effektpedal einen monophonen Effekt mit vielen Klang-Ebenen, die durch dynamische Spieltechnik und Anpassung der einzelnen Schieberegler nach Bedarf manipuliert werden können. Das Atreides bietet mit Sub-Octave Effekten, einem regelbaren Phaser-Layer, einem dynamischen Filter und einer 'knurrigen' Fuzz-Sektion ein extrem breites Spektrum unterschiedlichster Sounds. Die Schieberegler für Sensitivity und Range steuern den Vocal Envelope, Fuzz kontrolliert den Grad an Verzerrung und der Bright-Schieberegler fungiert als Tone-Regler, der wunderbar mit dem Fuzz interagiert. Der Sub-Schieberegler fügt eine Suboktave hinzu (je nach Setting wahlweise eine oder zwei Oktaven nach unten), während der Rate-Schieberegler den Phaser kontrolliert. Über einen internen Trim-Poti lässt sich zusätzlich das Feedback des Phasers steuern. Natürlich harmoniert das Way Huge Atreides ohne Probleme sowohl mit Gitarren als auch mit Bässen!

The Way Huge Atreides Analog Weirding Module (WHE900) offers a kaleidoscope of organic synth-like tones. Inspired by a vintage 1980 mini synthesizer, this consciousness-awakening device produces a monophonic effect with many layers that can be manipulate as needed through dynamic playing technique and adjustment of each of its several sliders. Kicking the footswitch generates an explosion of growly sub-octave, expressive vocal envelope, swooshing phase, and gnarly fuzz sounds. Ascend the high dune and gaze upon an expanding world of musical delights full of pure imagination. The Sensitivity and Range sliders control the vocal envelope, Fuzz adjusts the amount of fuzz and distortion and the Bright slider works as tone control that interacts with the Fuzz setting. The Sub slider adds sub-octave with an internal switch toggling 1 or 2 octaves while the Rate slider controls a phaser layer with an internal trim pot for adjustable feedback. The Way Huge Atreides works perfectly with bass or guitar.

It serves up 600ms of delay with a pair of gravelly-voiced bucket-brigade chips.
