The Foxxton Woods is one of our nastiest, wildest pedals. It’s our take on a very special felt-covered octave fuzz from the 1970s. But as you’d expect, we’ve ramped things up a notch with extra controls for more versatility, more fuzz, and a whole lot more sleaze. And that’s before you throw the upper octave into the mix… The Foxxton Woods comes with our’s signature diode rotary switch, which selects one of eight different clipping types: Germanium: Smooth, sweet, and classically ‘amp-like’. Silicon: Louder, brighter, and a little bit brittle. LED: Louder again, with less saturation and more punch. Asymmetrical germanium: A more aggressive version of germanium. Asymmetrical silicon: A more aggressive version of silicon. Asymmetrical LED: A more aggressive version of LED. Transistor/MOSFET: Similar to silicon, but sweeter and crunchier. No diodes: Loads of output and much less gain.
