Starbreaker Booster

The BSM RG Rory Gallagher tribute model is basically a BSM HS-Custom, modified to nail Rory Gallaghers signature tone, known from his famous recordings like "Big Guns" or "Lonesome Highway". Compared to the HS-Custom, the RG Rory Gallagher tribute model offers more gain for a more punchy sound with a good crunch. The RG Rory Gallagher tribute model, includes the same volume control, like Blackmore's modification on his treble booster. When dialed about halfway, you will achieve Gallaghers sound from his early records like "Deuce", "Live in Europe" and "Against The Grain". If you use a guitar with PAF style humbuckers, reduce the guitar's volume from 10 to 7 and set the PRA's volume to 50% to get this earthy, rough early/mid 70's R&B sound from the "Faces" (Ron Wood on guitar and Rod Stewart's vocals).

RG Treble Booster

This treble booster was manufactured for only three years, from 1967 to 1969, and was based on the Hornby Skewes used by Ritchie Blackmore during his Deep Purple days. It is a faithful reproduction of the 1967 model, with a high standard of selection of hard-to-find parts such as European-made germanium transistors. It has a powerful sound with a bite that you hear in famous hard rock albums. By controlling the guitar volume, you can enjoy lead tone to crunch sound.

It is powered by a 9V dry cell battery only.

BSM Treble Booster Model FireBall

The BSM "Galaxy 1011" is a faithful recreation of the whole AIWA TP-1011 tape recorder sound stage, Ritchie Blackmore used from late 1973 until today. This 18Volt unit “Galaxy 1011” contains the AIWA´s mic-preamp, the line output amp, the Marshall Factory mod and it holds a status LED. It is mainly intended for the users of a Marshall Major or clones of this. These are very special amps. With their special circuit design, they are very clean sounding amps and cannot be compared to a normal Marshall Super Lead or similar (pentode design with EL34 power tubes), that sound a bit dirty on their own. So for the real freaks the search for an unaffordable original AIWA TP-1011 could be well over.

Galaxy 1011 Preamp

Brian May from Queen used in his early days the British Range Master Germanium Treble Booster, a unit produced between 1965 and 1969. This model is rebuild as RM by BSM. In mid-phase from Queen, BrianMay switched to a silicon Treble Booster design for more bite, now reproduced by BSM with orginal silicon transistor and called BM-Q special. The same unit fitted with volume control called BM-Q.
