Establishing this reputation is not easy in such a competitive market, and to stay ahead of the game they have introduced a raft of Jr. pedals. Boasting the same amazing tones that we love about Amp Tweaker, these pedals are in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
All the Essentials:
The Tight Fuzz Jr. takes the essential features of its larger counterparts, ensuring that no tone is sacrificed. The Tight/Normal/Fat switch lets you adjust the attack and response of the fuzz. If you want a thick and heavy fuzz tone then the Fat mode will provide, whereas the Normal mode delivers a full-bodied, chunky sound with plenty of character. Switch to the Tight setting to shelve some low-end, giving you a more aggressive tone that will cut through in busy mixes with a crisp bite.
As Versatile As You’d Ever Want:
A 60’s/70’s/Now switch gves you further tonal options. You can go from a classic Hendrix-style fuzz bark, to a more modern and saturated tone that works as well for rhythm tones as it does for leads. Essentially an EQ switch, you can also adjust your sound using the conventional Tone control, allowing you to brighten the fuzz the higher you crank it up!
A Germanium/Silicon switch gives you the best of both worlds. Often argued by Fuzz junkies, changing these output transistors lets you affect the warmth and top-end of the fuzz, meaning you will have no problem “tweaking” the pedal for the perfect fuzz sound. See what I did there?

With the popularity of Amptweaker's smaller footprint JR series, we're now adding bass and guitar versions of our Fuzz pedals....introducing TightFuzz JR?, Bass TightFuzz JR?, BluesFuzz JR?, and Bass BluesFuzz Jr?. These pedals share most of the tone-tweaking features available on their larger counterparts, while eliminating effects loops, lit controls, battery switches and boost features that some players don’t need in order to shrink down the size and weight.
Derived from our Pro series, the Tight control and Fat switches were re-configured into a 3-position Fat/Normal/Tight switch to dial in the attack of the notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and chunky. On the TightFuzz models, an EQ switch provides 60's, 70's, or 'Now' tones, and there's also a Germanium/Silicon switch to change the output transistor for warmer or brighter/high gain distortion. The same automatically adjusted bias on the Fuzz controls keeps the sweet spot at hand, and is especially nice for cleaner tones. And of course the popular Dry Low control is included on the Bass TightFuzz JR.

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Overdrives mit zwei Fußschaltern und Boost verfügt der TightDrive Pro über zwei Boost-Regler, einen vor und einen nach der Verzerrung, sodass es einfach ist, Gain und Lautstärke für den perfekten Solo Tone anzupassen. Es gibt auch einen Midboost-Schalter, der gemeinsam mit dem Boost-Regler arbeitet, um Solos dabei zu helfen, sich durch den Mix zu schneiden. Der TightDrive Pro verfügt über einen Smooth Edge-Schalter, der den High-End-Sizzle cuttet und für einen wärmeren Sound sorgt oder umso mehr Klarheit in den Sound bringt. Der integrierte 3-Band-EQ ermöglicht viele tonale Variationen und seiner PlexEQ-schalter bietet traditionelleren Stack-Tones. Für den TightDrive Pro wurde ein neues "cleaneres" Noise Gate entwickelt, das dafür ausgelegt ist, die Geräuschentwicklung zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig cleanere Sounds ermöglicht. Amptweaker-Pedale sind für Effekt-Loops bekannt, und dieses hat gleich 3: einen Universal-Loop, einen der zusammen mit dem Boost aktiv ist und den beliebten SideTrak-Loop, der aktiv ist, wenn das Pedal in Bypass geschaltet wird, wenn das Pedal ausgeschaltet ist .... quasi ist wie eine eingebaute A / B Box.

Unlike most 2-button overdrive pedals with boost, the TightDrive Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion...so it's easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone There's also a Midboost button that works with the output Boost knob, to help solos cut through the mix. The TightDrive Pro has a Smooth Edge switch which cuts the high end sizzle for a warmer edge or adds clarity when it's OFF, depending on your perspective. The added three band EQ allows for much tonal variation, with its PlexEQ button for more traditional stack tone. A new 'cleaner' noise gate was developed for the TightDrive Pro, which is designed to reduce noise while maintaining the cleaner tones it's capable of. Amptweaker pedals are known for effects loops, and this one has 3: a universal loop, another active with the boost, and our popular SideTrak loop which activates when the pedal is OFF...it's like having a built-in A/B box.

Dieses Pedal verfügt über die meisten Funktionen, die auf den größeren TightDrives zu finden sind und verwendet die gleiche Schaltung, während einige Features weggelassen wurden, die viele Gitarristen nicht benötigen, um Größe und Gewicht zu reduzieren. Abgeleitet von der Pro-Serie wurden der Tight-Regler- und Fat-Schalter in einen 3-Wege-Fat / Normal / Tight-Schalter umkonfiguriert, um das Attack von dick und heavy zu aggressiv und chunky zu verändern. In addition to Gain, Tone and Volume knobs, there's also a manually-adjustable Noise Gate which can be cranked to stop notes hard and fast. And the great thing about a built-in noise gate is that it goes away when you turn the pedal off...so your clean tone is unaffected!

Hinter der Pedal-Schmiede Amptweaker steckt James Brown. Nein, natürlich nicht der legendäre Soulsänger, sondern ein sehr erfahrener Amp-Entwickler, zu dessen Arbeitgeber auch schon Firmen wie Peavey und Kustom zählten. Die Hauptaufgabe von James Brown bei diesen Firmen war überwiegend die Feinabstimmung von Amps, die er mit eigens dafür entwickelten Pedalen vornahm. Damit war der Grundstein für seine eigene Company Amptweaker bereits früh gelegt.

The Bass TightFuzz is a flexible fuzz, from great germanium clean tones to heavy silicon fuzz, and has a Dry Low blend.
