Orbita1974 mkII

FUZZ

Description

The Orbit 1974 is everything you love about late 60’s fuzz with the functionality of a modern pedal. Two vintage germanium transistors are hand-selected for the pedal, which have a softer sound compared to their silicon counterparts. Problems with low input impedance and high output impedance have been resolved. Now you can easily put buffers both before and after the Orbit, without fear of ruining the sound. The pedal uses a special transformer circuit that mimics the behavior of a pickup and works directly with the input of the fuzz circuit. Thanks to this, Orbit is perfectly friendly with any pedal in front of it. Even reverb if you’re a shoegazer. Active pickups, drum machines, basses, and synthesizers are no longer a problem either. Due to the low output impedance, the wire after the pedal does not cut off high frequencies, as with the original Fuzz Face.
