Ob es nun von Deinen Single-Coil-Tonabnehmern oder von nicht geerdeten Steckdosen kommt, Tatsache ist, dass es brummt. Das BEHRINGER INTELLIGATE IG9 bringt dieses Brummen zum Schweigen, wenn du nicht spielst.

Ein Noise Gate lässt ein Signal nur dann passieren, wenn es über einem bestimmten Schwellenwert liegt. Fällt das Signal unter den Schwellenwert, wird kein Signal durchgelassen. Mit anderen Worten: Du kannst den Schwellenwert des IG9 oberhalb des Rauschens einstellen, das auftritt, wenn deine Gitarre eingesteckt ist, aber nicht gespielt wird, was zu Stille führt. Wenn du aber anfängst, deine Gitarre zu spielen, übersteigt dein Sound den Threshold, so dass dein Sound durchkommt.

Whether it’s coming from your single-coil pickups or non-grounded power outlets, the fact is that hum happens. The BEHRINGER INTELLIGATE IG9 quiets this hum when you are not playing.

A noise gate allows a signal to pass through only when it is above a set threshold. If the signal falls below the threshold no signal is allowed to pass. In other words, you can set the IG9’s threshold above the noise that occurs when your guitar is plugged in but not being played, resulting in silence. But when you begin playing your guitar, your sound will exceed the threshold, allowing your sound to come through.

The IG9 keeps the unique tonal qualities of your music intact while eliminating noise in either the high, mid or full frequencies, depending on how you set the frequency dial. This must-have pedal allows all the good parts of your sound to blast through with lightning-fast attack and fully adjustable release time. The status LED tells you when the IG9 is activated, and its true hardware bypass gives you the ultimate in signal integrity. You can power the IG9 with either a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (Not included).

IG9 Intelligate

With 15 dB of available boost or cut per band, the EQ700’s seven frequency bands were carefully optimized to provide the ultimate tools for EQ’ing your guitar. Of course, to make full use of the EQ700’s capabilities, it helps to first understand some basics about the frequency range of your axe. The EQ700 covers the audio spectrum from below 100 Hz to over 6.4 kHz, allowing you to effectively cut or boost a slew of frequencies to help bring focus to your sound.
