Here’s an authentic, classic distortion effect – the amazing VINTAGE DISTORTION VD1 exudes all the warm and emotive tone that has ruled rock for the last 30 years. With its dedicated Tone and Sustain controls, the VD1 will teach your guitar how to scream! Unlike the heavily saturated distortion sounds found in some of our competitor’s metal and hard rock pedals, this sturdy little, metal-boxed rocker produces the harmonic grind that occurs naturally when a tube amp is cranked up – nice and loud. And the VD1 is extremely versatile and ultra-responsive. With its simple Sustain, Tone and Level dials, you can harness any degree of overdrive – from slightly dirty to hot ‘n’ crunchy! The amber LED tells you when it’s activated, and the physically hardwired true bypass maintains crystal-clear signal integrity. You can power the VD1 with a 9 V battery or our PSU-SB DC power supply (not included).
