OVERDRIVE

The Highway Star HS2 pedal is a solution for the different fans and overdrive stages that every guitarist needs to create different highlights during a show without having to resort to a large number of pedals. Thanks to the dual independent overdrive format, we have the possibility to combine up to 4 different sounds without touching a single control. The “OD1” channel offers a wide range of sounds, from a booster with some character and bite to a generous overdrive that can break up any clean channel and turn it into a crunch channel. In addition, we can further expand the sonic possibilities with the “Clipping” and “Voicing” controls. The “OD2” channel has a completely different sound. With a saturation that is more akin to amplifier distortion, a much higher bass response and a slightly clipped mid-range. Despite the high gain, the notes are perfectly defined thanks to the harmonic richness. Like the Overdrive 1, it extends its versatility thanks to the “Presence” and “Fat” controls.
