The Sir Psycho is an envelope filter (Auto-Wah) that unlike a classic Wah, where you control the effect with a footswitch, the sweep is altered depending on the signal strength of your instrument. Basically, the louder you play, the more “wah” you get. This effect is widely used in Funk, on guitar, bass and keyboard by great musicians like Bootsy Collins, Stevie Wonder, Flea, John Frusciante or bands like Jamiroquai, Audioslave, U2 and many others. As it is so sensitive to your signal, the best way to find your sound is to start playing with this pedal and make your own experience using it. Everyone plays differently, every instrument sounds different, but the SP2 controls let you ALWAYS find the perfect sound for you. Combine it with other pedals and discover endless possibilities (besides the classic “funky quack”) thanks to the incredible dynamics of the effect. You can also use it with different instruments. Sir Psycho likes to dance with everyone! It's a pedal full of sounds that can be used to generate subtle changes, or radically modify your sound and expand your boundaries, but most importantly, it's a lot of fun to use and incredibly inspiring.
