Transiberiana

FUZZ
DISTORTION

Description

Trans-Siberian is a massive distortionist capable of exploring arid territories as well as delving into sounds dripping with fat! It sits exactly at the exact point where a distortion unit becomes a fuzz. A typical side effect of circuits that achieve distortion by generating a square wave is the paucity of control over the upper harmonics. This results in most units that exploit this principle reporting an annoying mosquito effect. The Transiberian's circuitry, inspired by that of a very rare Big Muff*, which is hard to find nowadays, exploits the same principle to generate distortion, but, thanks to some revisions, offers better filtering of harmonics, returning a sound comparable to the immensity of the Siberian steppe.
