The Scream Bass is our "Never-Off" version of the Screamer Bass.

It is a “clean” overdrive with about twice the gain of your average tube screamer-style pedal. It offers much more clarity than a typical overdrive, and is voiced to help maintain the low end of your signal.

Like the Screamer Bass, it has the Clip Selector, which allows you to select either silicon, LED, or Schottky clipping!

Never-Off Scream Bass

We'd like to introduce you to Project 34. 34 just happens to be the atomic number of selenium, and at the heart of this pedal is a selenium rectifier. Selenium rectifiers are an old technology that goes back to pre-germanium times, and were first introduced in the early 1930's. They were last used in the guitar world as rectifiers in older amps such as the 1950's tweeds. Later on in the 1960's they were phased out as the industry turned to modern solid state silicon instead of selenium and tube rectifiers.

Enter Cusack Music founder Jon Cusack. Jon had some 60 year old selenium rectifiers left from his days as an amp repairman, and he always wondered about using them in a pedal. We did just that in 2021 when Cusack music made a very small run of 20  Screamer Fuzz Selenium pedals, which sold out immediately. Jon thought he would never find the suitable rectifiers again because today they are usually relegated to just a few larger industrial and military applications, but after over a year of searching he finally located the supply we needed to make another pedal. While they are a very expensive component, we think you'll come to agree that they certainly do have a sound of their own.

Project 34 - Pre/Drive

If you’ve ever plugged your bass into a regular fuzz box and been unimpressed, it’s because they’re designed to limit the extreme low end allowed into the amp. This is fine for the 6-stringers, but not ideal at all for bass.
The Screamer Bass Fuzz is designed to fix this. Like the Screamer Bass, it’s Tube Screamer-inspired overdrive is modified for bass guitar, but with an additional fuzz circuit for EVEN MORE GAIN.

You can mix either the overdrive or the fuzz to your liking. As a result, the Screamer Bass Fuzz runs the full gamut of gain, from subtle grit to buzz saw. Whether you’re covering Cream or Muse, or creating your own sounds, this pedal should help get you there.

Screamer Fuzz Bass

The Louder is the "Never-Off" version of the More Louder (minus the buffer toggle).

This is a small pedal that produces a big sound. The Louder features 0 to 25dB of clean boost! The Louder is not a treble boost, so it won’t affect your tone. You will retain your natural guitar tone, but even Louder.

Note: Cusack "Never-Off" pedals do not come equipped with true bypass switches or battery power capability. These products are meant to work with a switcher system.

The Tiny Tap Delay is the "Never-Off" version of the Tap-A Delay.

All the features of the Tap-A-Delay in a package half the size of a Screamer! You read that right, a fully featured Tap-A-Delay that is a quarter of the size of the original.
