The Marcus Deml 'Angry Gorilla is a handmade and very versatile organic distortion. The pedal was developed for the 'working musician' who travels with little equipment, yet demands rich distortion sounds from a clean amp. The versatile gain control allows sounds from blues to heavy metal. The Tone control was a particular challenge, as Marcus prefers as few knobs as possible, but still demands warmth and transparency. The Volume control alone can be used as a booster. It adds more than 6 dB of gain compared to other pedals.
