A significant part of the British Invasion of the 60's and 70's was not only bands, but equipment - particularly amplifiers.  Orange was a company that built an iconic sound and guitar players everywhere were captured by this raw sound that was so different from everything else at this time. Bjorn Juhl has captured this so-called 'crude distortion' in the Fluorescent Orange Amp In A Box (FOAIAB) drive pedal. With 56 dB of gain and a noise level of -80 dB, the FOAIAB is ideal for classic and hard rock and even early metal - all of the distortion, none of the noise. The FOAIAB works best with humbucking pickups as do most distortion pedals, but there is more than enough thick distortion to satisfy the single coil and P-90 users as well. With active pickups you get less of the dynamics, but a more fluent sound. As with all the One Control BJF series pedals, the FOAIAB can be used anywhere in the signal chain, and it's highly recommended to experiment. The stompbox can change the sound of your amp on its own, or it can be used as a pre-amp for other drives, or it can be used in series with any or all of the OC BJF pedals to create a new individual sound of your own.

Das One Control Blackberry Bass OD basiert auf dem klassischen BJFe Blueberry Bass Overdrive, einem der Klassiker aus der frühen BJFe-Produktion. Das Pedal erzeugt einen dezenten Overdrive-Effekt, der speziell für Bassisten (aber auch für Gitarristen) entwickelt wurde und dabei hilft, bei jeder Lautstärke und mit jedem Verstärker einen leicht übersteuerten und präsenteren Bass-Sound zu erzeugen! Diese Qualität wird oft als 'Grit' bezeichnet - ähnlich einem großen Röhrenverstärker, der bei hoher Lautstärke hart gefahren wird - jetzt in einem kompakten Pedal-Format. Bjorn Juhl hat das allererste BBOD-Modell, das er jemals gebaut hat, als Grundlage genommen und der ursprünglichen Schaltung einen neuen Body-Regler hinzugefügt. Der Body-Regler kontrolliert die Midrange im Signal und ermöglicht es, den Bass im Mix besser zu betonen ohne dabei die Lautstärke zu erhöhen. The One Control Blackberry Bass OD hearkens back to the original BJFe Blueberry Bass Overdrive model, one of the classics from early BJFe production. This is a very light overdrive pedal specifically designed for bass players (but also great on guitars) that helps to create a slightly overdriven and more present bass tone at any volume and with any amplifier! Many players have described this quality as 'grit' - similar to a large tube bass amp being driven hard at concert volume, but now in a pedal format. Bjorn Juhl has taken the very first BBOD model he ever created as a basis, and then added a new Body knob to the original circuit, enabling the player to precisely dial in the midrange 'body' frequencies of their tone to make the bass guitar more prominent in the mix without increasing the overall volume. This version is one of One Control's bass-specific tools to enhance your low end presence. It’s also a secret weapon for the downtuned and 7/8 string guitar brigade, with a new heaviness for that lower frequency spectrum.

The One Control Purple Plexifier was designed to reproduce the legendary distortion sound of old Plexi amplifiers from the 60s.
