Overdriver

OVERDRIVE
EQUALIZER

Description

A classic reproduction of the 1971 Colorsound Overdriver. The Overdriver is a bass and treble boosting overdrive that is a virtually identical to the 18 volt Colorsound Power Booster that was made famous by Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd. The only real difference is the addition of a volume knob, which I feel make the pedal much more useable. The Overdriver works great with tube amps to provide a very clean and transparent overdrive at the lower gain ranges and goes all the way to a heavy fuzz at the highest gain settings. The dynamic open sound of this pedal has made it legendary. You can use it on its own for a full range of tones or use it to overdrive and a fuzz/distortion/overdrive pedal. Pair it with the 73 Ram’s head to get yourself to Gilmour tone nirvana.
