Bobby Shorts is our take on the legendary JFET booster made famous by the Grateful Dead. When set at “0” the effect is, essentially, a unity gain JFET buffer — turning the knob the right adds volume, and additionally harmonic content. This pedal functions best as an always on booster, especially with amps that are a little too clean like any of the big Fenders, or solid state amps.
