Nano Small Stone 

The EHX Micro Q-Tron is a smooth envelope filter with a funky wah-wah tone. The filter is controlled by its internal envelope follower, analyzing the volume of your notes and the dynamics of your playing to directly sweep the filter’s center or cutoff frequency. A stronger attack or louder note will produce a wider frequency sweep while softer playing produces more subtle effects. Use the Q control to make the effect more dramatic.

Neben gewöhnlichen „Standard-Effekten“, welche uns immer wieder im redaktionellen Alltag begegnen, treffen dann und wann auch mal ein paar außergewöhnliche Tools zur Erweiterung des musikalischen Horizonts in unserer Redaktion ein. Ein ganz besonders exotischer Geselle dieser Kategorie „Very Special Effects“ ist ganz sicher das Electro Harmonix Ravish Sitar, das aus einer E-Gitarre das Volksinstrument des indischen Subkontinents, der Sitar, machen soll. Eher „Kitsch im Stile von Bollywood“ oder wirklich eine ernstzunehmende und inspirierende Klangerweiterung? Wir von Amazona haben das Curry schon mal bereitgestellt und begeben uns mit diesem Gerät des US-Kultherstellers Electro Harmonix auf die Reise in neues Terrain.

Very few instruments offer as much harmonic and dynamic flexibility as a sitar. Electro-Harmonix has streamlined the essence of the sitar into a compact enclosure that offers a polyphonic lead voice and tunable sympathetic string drones that dynamically react to your playing. With the EHX Ravish Sitar Emulator, you can create your own custom scales for the sympathetic strings while you set the decay time for the lead voice.
Two expression pedal inputs allow you to bend the pitch of the lead voice and control the volume of the sympathetic strings simultaneously. These unique controls offer the player the ability to program the Ravish to become a totally unique and organic instrument unto itself.
The Ravish is a truly new design with the flexibility to be a crossover tonal wonder.

Die Pitch Fork von Electro Harmonix in unserem aktuellen bonedo-Test beweist einmal mehr, dass auch Pitch-Shifter Effektpedale inzwischen für jedes Budget erschwinglich sind. Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage.
