The Iron Fistula by Malaise Forever is a high-performance JFET preamp/overdrive that will elevate your tone from shrill and thin to thick and beefy when engaged. It gives a massive sound to any amp or pedal drive with its Peak and Body eq controls - they function more like a tilt EQ but each are tuned to high and low bands, respectively. There is a ton of volume on tap with the Loud knob while the Gain control is tamer than the pedal's name suggests it hits the sweet spot of clarity at the higher end of overdrive.
