TC Electronic hatte zuletzt einige neue Pedale vorgestellt, genau genommen die zweite Runde an Behringer-Remakes mit TC Label und Updates im Inneren und Äußeren. Und alles zum Budget-Kurs. Nun folgt ein sehr ähnliches Pedal namens Tube Pilot, dass mit einer echten 12AX7 aufwarten kann.

The tone and feel you get from TUBE PILOT OVERDRIVE is exactly the same as what you’d get from a tube amp. It’s extremely-touch sensitive, and reacts to how you attack the strings, allowing you to use picking dynamics to seamlessly go between fat blues tones to rich, grinding rock sounds. Pick the strings softly for a warm and clean tone, or hit ‘em hard for an organic bite with incredible warmth and sustain.

Das TC Electronic Eyemaster ist eine Kopie des Boss HM-2 Pedals, welches für den Kettensägensound der Schwedischen Death Metal Bewegung der 90er Jahre steht. Ich selber besitze ein Boss HM2 (Made in Taiwan), zwei Bausätze „Das HmTwo“ von „das Musikding“ und jetzt auch das TC Electronic Eyemaster. Das Eyemaster verfügt nur über Gain und Volume Regler, auf den EQ wurde verzichtet.

EYEMASTER METAL DISTORTION brings back the original metal credo of "loud and brutal" with its "simpler-than thou" 2-knob operation.
Just set the volume (all the way up, right?) and adjust the gain (anything less than all-the-gain is sacrilege) and start riffing.
